ABOUT THE POSITION
Thriving outpatient physical therapy clinic is seeking an upbeat Physical Therapist, new grad or experienced, to join our fabulous team in Wilson, NC.
In our clinic we deliver a wide range of therapys services:
- Orthopedic Rehabilitation: Treatment for musculoskeletal conditions, joint pain, and orthopedic injuries.
- Vestibular Rehabilitation & Dizziness: Specialized balance therapy and care for balance disorders, dizziness, and BPPV management.
- Neurological Rehabilitation: Care aimed at optimizing neurological function and recovery.
- Sports Rehabilitation: Recovery programs designed for sports-related injuries.
- Pediatric Therapy: Pediatric physical therapy and pediatric occupational therapy.
- Pelvic Health & Wellness: Specialized care addressing pelvic floor health.
- TMJD Therapy: Treatment for temporomandibular joint disorders and jaw pain.
- Foot Therapy: Targeted rehabilitation for foot and lower extremity issues.
- Pre and Post-Partum Care: Specialized therapy supporting pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
- Dry Needling: Clinical technique used to relieve myofascial pain.
- Fitness and Wellness Programs: Medically-based physical fitness and whole-body wellness plans.
We service patients of all ages in a 2200 sq ft facility by a staff of 5.
You should be outgoing, independent and understand that patients are people, not numbers. Certification in vestibular or pelvic is a plus.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
- Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
- Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date
- Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress
- Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
- Examine and evaluate new patients
- Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
- Establish a plan goal and time frame
- Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
- Measure and track intervention effectiveness
- Educate the patient on continuing care
