Sedation Dentist

From: The People Link Corp
Description: Hiring now an IV-sedation-certified General Dentist for a private, doctor-owned dental practice in Eugene, OR.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

The People Link is recruiting for a warm, relationship-driven, doctor-owned family practice in Eugene, OR. Sedation is the practice’s specialty, and dentists across Lane County refer patients to them for it.

They do no advertising and have no shortage of patients. No DSO, no corporate setting, no volume quotas: you set the time you need for each patient, and the front office schedules around you.

This is a confidential search. The practice name, address, and other details are shared after a short call, and we never submit your information to a practice without your permission. Call or email Mya Borgman at 818-890-9998 or mya@thepeoplelink.com. I work directly with the owners.

Why you should come work for us:

Quality over quantity. The practice is quality-driven, not volume-driven. Their fees reflect the time spent with patients, so you have the time to do excellent work and are paid for it.

Your sedation skills fully used. Most sedation cases are restorative, with some perio and surgery. You’ll help patients who have avoided care for decades.

A full schedule from day one. Loyal families, generations of the same patients, and a steady stream of referrals. The schedule is as full as you want it.

Real patient relationships. You won’t be meeting strangers and racing from room to room to “keep up with production.” Patients tell the team that coming in is actually enjoyable.

A team that genuinely enjoys each other. Plenty of laughter, no drama. New hires and fill-in team members all say the same thing: it’s the best-organized office they’ve worked in.

Autonomy. No micromanaging. You decide your own treatment time and plans.

Room to grow. Strong in endo, ortho, or surgery? There’s ample room to add those procedures, and they’re adding SureSmile.

Compensation:
$250k - $320k est. $800 daily min., then 30% of production.
Benefits offered:
  • 401(k) with profit sharing
  • Medical insurance for team members working 3+ days/week, Vision included
  • Dental in-house
  • 1 week paid vacation and 40 hours sick time
  • CE support, discussed and approved with the owners
  • Sign-on bonus / relocation assistance

ABOUT THE POSITION

The role. Full general dentistry with IV sedation at its center. Services include composite and glass ionomer restorations, veneers, cosmetic bonding, zirconia, PFZ and full-gold crown and bridge, implant restorations, partials and dentures (many implant-retained), simple and surgical extractions, socket preservation, laser gingivectomies, nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and moderate IV sedation. All ages are treated. Children are sedated with nitrous oxide only, and anxious children are referred to a pedodontist.

The office. Six operatories with up-to-date technology: Eaglesoft, digital radiography, Primescan 2 scanner, intra-oral cameras in every room, transillumination, plumbed nitrous oxide, diode laser, and air-driven STAR handpieces. You will work with 2 owner-dentists, 5 hygienists, 5 assistants, and a front office team.

Who thrives here:

Compassionate. You put anxious patients at ease and treat every patient the way you’d want your own family treated.

Detail-oriented. You hold yourself to exceptionally high standards, take pride in beautiful dentistry, and will redo work that isn’t right.

Emotionally intelligent and humble. You’re confident in your skills, open to feedback, and communicate with kindness and respect.

Team-oriented. You value everyone in the office and add to a positive culture, with a good sense of humor.

Dependable. You follow through and take ownership of your patients and your commitments.

IV sedation certification and a 2-year commitment are required. Candidates should hold or be able to obtain the Oregon moderate sedation permit before starting.

Eugene. A friendly, outdoorsy Willamette Valley city with a university-town energy, easy access to the Cascades and the Oregon coast, and a more manageable cost of living than Portland or the Bay Area.
