ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a skilled and personable Oral Surgeon to join our modern, 18-chair multi-specialty clinic in Rockford, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to practice with autonomy in a collaborative setting, supported by internal referrals from general dentists and specialists under one roof.
Built in 2023, our facility is fully equipped with advanced tools, including a CT scanner, in-house mill and lab, nitrous oxide, intraoral scanners, and soft tissue laser. Same-day or next-day surgical guides and prosthetics allow you to deliver timely, high-quality care to a growing and appreciative patient base.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform extractions, wisdom tooth removals, bone grafts, implant placements, and other surgical procedures
- Use CT and digital imaging for treatment planning and case assessment
- Collaborate with referring general dentists and in-house specialists for seamless care
- Provide sedation using nitrous oxide as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records using Open Dental software
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the surgical process
