Hiring now for a Pediatric Dentist in a Pediatric family practice serving children through college age in Jacksonville, FL.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYER
Private pediatric family dental practice providing pediatric, general, and orthodontic services to patients up to 23 years of age. Currently seeking a general dentist or a pediatric dentist.
Compensation:$1500 per diem, 30% of collections. $312,000 realistic annual income for 4 days/week. Benefits offered:

ABOUT THE POSITION
Full service pediatric family practice is seeking a Pediatric Dentist, can be a general dentist with pediatric experience or a pediatric dentist out of residency but with a minimum of 5 years of experience treating children of all ages.
We are looking for someone who ENJOYS working with children, who wants to provide a warm and safe environment for parents and kids alike, and who explains and communicates well with patients, parents, and staff.
Our requirements include:
- Major bonus would be IV sedation certified in Florida
- Competently treat up to age 21 (willingness to see up to age 23 would be a huge bonus as we keep a lot of our students all the way through college)
- Able to manage one treatment column and a minimum of 5 columns of exams
- Familiarity with Open Dental and Overjet is a plus. Must enter your own prescriptions into the system (very easy).
- Consistent referrals to our in-house orthodontist are an expectation based on established guidelines for pediatrics
- Open to operating under the guidance of our owning Dentist and expect to be held accountable to production goals
- Very competent in treatment planning, act as the authority and guide parents to the BEST solution, and not give multiple solutions that leave them confused and unlikely to schedule for treatment.
Your responsibilities will be to provide fillings, build-ups, crowns (all types), space maintainers, extractions, frenectomies (a bonus), and anything else that would keep you from referring out.

We are conveniently located near the Jacksonville International Airport but with easy access to all major interstate systems like I-95, I-10 and I-295.
We do in-office IV sedation as well as in- office orthodontics. Being a privately owned practice allows us the flexibility to do whatever we think drives value.
We are constantly looking for ways to improve our process. We are currently implementing Overjet Voice as an example that will dictate notes from the doctor's exam, ensuring accuracy and saving time for the assistant and doctor alike, while ensuring everything was captured properly.
