Compensation:
$45-$55+ /hour.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are a high-end, upscale dental practice in Chicago, Illinois, where we treat every patient like an individual. Our growth requires us to hire an additional Dental Hygienist to start by Jun 2nd.

We are looking for a licensed Hygienist, can be a new grad or experienced, to join our amazing team. Personal qualities that we are looking for would be:

As our Hygienist, your qualifications are:

  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, oral health care, and preventive dentistry
  • Proficient with digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and electronic dental records
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Effective communication skills to educate patients about oral hygiene
  • Ability to work collaboratively with dentists, assistants, and administrative staff
  • Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols

And your core responsibilities are:

  • Perform thorough prophylaxis (cleanings) and periodontal scaling/root planing
  • Take and interpret dental radiographs
  • Apply sealants and fluoride treatments
  • Conduct oral cancer screenings
  • Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional habits
  • Assist the dentist with exams and record findings in the patient’s chart
  • Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
  • Monitor and document patient care plans and progress
  • Support a comprehensive care model by coordinating treatment plans with the dental team
