ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a physical therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team of orthopedic professionals and to deliver evidence based physical therapy treatments to our mostly elderly patient population.

Personal qualities we are looking for include positivity, ability to adapt to change, forward thinking, takes initiative, resiliency, and clinical confidence.

In addition to your basic physical therapy training, it would be helpful if you also have Dry Needling certification, Modern Management of the Older Adult certification (MMOA), and a background in weight training, all useful to have but not necessary to start.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Evaluate and treat patients
  • Occasionally write articles for our website
  • Facilitate patient care in collaboration with PTA's and PT Tech's
  • Complete the MMOA certification

In our Physical Therapy department we treat our patients using Functional Dry needling, cupping, IASTM, Hwave, blood flow restriction, Kinesio taping and more.

Our therapists are trained in a variety of manual therapy techniques (Great Lakes most popular in our area) but our emphasis is on a therapist's ability to properly progress or regress the corrective exercise program.

The wide range of experience from our clinicians provides a great learning environment for newer therapists.

We host a CEU course every year, which typically gives us discounted rates and avoids traveling for courses.

Why you should come work for us:
  • Physician-owned, large outpatient clinic servicing primarily orthopedic and post-surgical with some chronic pain and neurological patient populations.
  • We have our own ambulatory surgical center. All team members have the opportunity to observe a wide range of orthopedic surgeries on a rotating schedule throughout the year.
  • Health insurance monthly premium is paid for by us for the basic plan.  This amount is discounted from the upgraded plan if this is chosen.
  • We have orthopedic surgeons, two pain management physicians, and a pain psychologist.  We also have our own MRI center.
  • We understand the importance of therapeutic alliance and is the cornerstone of how we treat.
  • Our positive, encouraging energy is unmatched.
