Local therapist owned company since 1987 with 17 outpatient clinics (and growing), 3 Hospital locations, 45 school districts covered by school division with 430+ employees.   

Compensation:
$72k - $90k DOE.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist who is energetic, with good patient care / people skills, leadership, and motivation to join our amazing team.

In our Physical Therapy department we utilize the following methods, not a complete list: General Orthopedic and Sports Medicine; Dry Needling, Cupping, Laser, Splinting, Blood Flow Restriction and more.

Patient population ranges from 10 years old to 100, all being serviced in a 10,000 sq ft facility with all the equipment you could ask for.

Your responsibilities will include  (not a complete list):

  • Examining, evaluating, and testing individuals with  mechanical, physiological, and developmental  impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities  or other conditions related to health and movement  and, through analysis of the evaluative process, developing a plan of therapeutic intervention and  prognosis while assessing the ongoing effects of the intervention
  • Alleviating impairment, functional limitation, or  disabilities by designing, implementing, or modifying therapeutic interventions, which does not include the making of a medical diagnosis, but which may include any of the following:
  • Therapeutic exercise
  • Functional training in home, community, or work integration or reintegration related to physical movement and mobility
  • Therapeutic massage
  • Mobilization or manual therapy
  • Recommendation, application, and fabrication of assistive, adaptive, protective, and supportive devices and equipment
  • Physical agents or modalities
  • Mechanical and electrotherapeutic modalities
  • Patient-related instruction

Additional requirements are:

  • Must be knowledgeable in various diagnoses, appropriate modality care, and the anatomical and physiological make-up of the human body. 
  • Must possess basic knowledge of physical therapy, principals of developmental sensory integration, and neurodevelopmental treatment.
  • Applying strong written communication skills for correspondence, reports and other company materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and other staff members.
  • Strong self-motivational and leadership abilities.
  • Must possess a high degree of accuracy.
