Description: We are offering an immediate opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist, can be CFY, who loves to work with special needs children in our growing private practice in Olympia, WA

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

We are a Private Pediatric practice and we offer specialized services for children with neurodevelopmental impairments, sensory or perceptual deficits, communication disorders, birth defects, prenatal drug and alcohol exposure, autism, and learning disabilities.
Compensation:
Salary; $65,000 to $85,000 depending on experience

ABOUT THE POSITION

We provide Pediatric Speech therapy.  Our office treats most diagnoses including Autism, developmental delay, Down Syndrome, etc. from ages 1 to 12.

We believe that the best developmental outcome is achieved when the whole family actively participates in a child's therapy program in a meaningful way.

We are looking for an SLP with:
Excellent communication skills;
Loves children;
Patience;
Ability to look outside the box for ways to engage children. 
Honesty and integrity are important as well as being prompt and consistent with attendance.

Your responsibilities will include:
Provide speech and language services for children. Therapy tools will be provided, however staff is responsible for tailoring sessions to each child's needs.  Chart notes will be needed on a per visit basis and reports on an as needed basis. 

We have an OT that works in a shared office with us that has her own practice. We enjoy a great relationship and collaborate often with children that may need each other's services. 

Currently we are looking to expand into a larger practice to be able to serve more children in our area.  A bonus program and leadership positions will be available in the near future.
