Description: Immediate opening for an experienced Occupational Therapist in 90 bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Chico, CA. SignOn bonus.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

90-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in short-term inpatient and long-term care. We provide long-term health care, which attends to the emotional, mental, physical, social and spiritual well-being of the residents.
Compensation:
$55 - $58/hr. $10k SignOn bonus and relocation assistance.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our experienced and dedicated team helps each resident achieve their optimal level of health and independence. All medical services provided are under the supervision of your physician and/or our medical director.

Our nursing staff along with the physician, social worker, dietician, therapists, and support staff assist each resident in maintaining or enhancing their quality of life.
 
Our therapy department has a team of 3 - 4 full time therapists servicing a geriatric population.
 
Your responsibilities will include evaluate new admissions, complete weekly progress reports on patients, do daily treatments, complete all documentation in a timely manner (evals, progress reports, and discharges). Manage a caseload of 20-30 patients at a time and supervise 2 COTAs.
