We are a 85-year-old financially-stable nonprofit providing augmentative communication, speech, and language, our programs include residential camping, case management services, audiology, American Sign Language interpreting services, community services day habilitation, senior enrichment, and early learning through a special purpose preschool.
Salary up to $65,000 depending on experience.

We are hiring a full time Speech Language Pathologist to start as soon as possible to help increased patient load.

We service patients of all ages, from as young as 18 months to adults up to 90 years.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive services to meet the communication and learning needs of children and adults with disabilities. This includes, but may not be limited to, consultations, evaluations, direct service provision with its related tasks (i.e. IEP development, progress reporting), education and training to clients, service providers, caregivers, family members and the community. 

You will provide direct service with students exhibiting the full range of communication disorders, including those involving language, articulation (speech sound disorders), fluency, voice/resonance, social pragmatics and swallowing using systematic and evidence-based intervention methods and materials to foster communicative competence.  

We have a requirement of being able to regularly lift 15 lbs. and occasionally lift 40+ lbs, so you need to be able to do that.

You should be energetic, fun, charismatic, creative; a multi-tasker who thinks on your feet; passionate about your profession, you enjoy new challenges, excited to learn, have a desire for continuous education, and staying progressive in the field of communication.

We also ask of you to have Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT) skills. Knowledge of a variety of speech and language delays and disorders, AAC systems, vendors and products including search strategies for locating specific systems and methods to access these systems. Experience in or desire to learn about providing distance learning.
