Physical Therapist

From: The People Link Corp
Description: Available later this summer, position for a Physical Therapist to work full-time in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA which was once considered the "happiest place to live in America" by Oprah Winfrey.

We are a small privately owned clinic. We pride ourselves in offering physical therapy services which help people return to happier and more active lives. We cater to the individual by treating the whole person rather than just a body part. Every client matters to us, from the moment they call our office, to the treatment they receive and beyond the day they graduate from PT.
Competitive and negotiable
Benefits offered:
Benefits package including:
  • Stipend towards medical
  • 401(K)
  • CE allowance
  • Paid vacations
  • Relocation costs reimbursement

We are looking for a team player, someone easy going, who takes initiative, is a good communicator & can establish good relationship with patients.  Someone good at time management & completion of their notes and who goes beyond within reason for the betterment of the practice and patients needs. Offers a helping hand if they have a hole in the schedule & aren't seeing any clients at the moment.

For this position we need someone with experience in pelvic floor or a strong interest in learning.

Our clientele includes children to those more seasoned. We see a number of orthopedic, neurologic, pelvic floor, balance, and post-op patients. We typically treat 1 - 2 clients an hour so that each client receives individualized concentrated care.  A good percentage of our treatment approach involves hands-on direct one-on-one care.

You will be treating conditions mainly related to pelvic floor but may be called upon to treat other conditions as well.

Our philosophy is a unique blend of Western understanding of anatomy and physiology and Eastern philosophies of the body's energetic interactions.

We will contribute to relocation costs for the right candidate.

If this sounds intriguing to you, won't you come join us.

Why you should come work for us:
Our company believes in the developing of trust & relationship with our patients. To that extent, the therapist treats at most 2 clients an hour. We have more of an intimate setting vs crowded into a gym & generally a slower paced, less frenetic atmosphere. Our smaller practice is more of a family. Each employee is valued in what they contribute to the organization.
