    Maitland/MFR/manual therapy/pain certification is not a requirement, but would be a plus.

Physical Therapist Outpatient

Description: We are looking for a competent Physical Therapist for a permanent position in our outpatient clinic in Chesterton, IN

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

We offer health and wellness for our community to promote injury prevention, evaluation and managing an individual’s movement system across their lifespan, Women’s health, pain management and fall prevention to both children and adults.
Compensation:
$35 to $40/hr. We offer relocation assistance of up to $2000.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This position will involve performing screenings/assessments/evaluations for patients and/or clients for the purpose of injury prevention and rehabilitation as well as health promotion with emphasis on providing exceptional patient service. You will participate in activities and training to promote and attain regulatory compliance at the local, state and federal level.

Patient case load about 8 to 10 patients per day. Our patients are 90% adult and 10% children. 

Some of the equipment we use include Biosway, Anodyne, fluidotherapy and DorsaVi.

Job requirements include:

Evaluating patients/clients, developing a plan of care with associated goals including quantifiable physical and functional targets.
Retaining the responsibility for all delegated tasks to other licensees and support personnel. Ensuring proper and adequate supervision of the Physical Therapist Assistant and support personnel.
Participating in professional and facility enhancement programs and activities as required by the company.
Ensuring proficient services through proper patient and equipment scheduling
Complying with the Facility’s Comprehensive Compliance Plan (CCP) which includes but is not limited to: Business & Clinical Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, HIPAA, Human Resources and Code of Conduct as well as all facility policies and procedures and educational requirements associated the CCP.
