Physical Therapist

From: The People Link Corp
Description: Charismatic, Motivated F/T PT Needed for Our Growing Clinic in Burien, WA

We are looking for a team player, someone open, honest, friendly, emphatic, looking to get involved in the community and help a clinic grow because of mutual benefit; excited to teach and learn from those around them; does not need hand-holding.  Relatively calm personality.

We are located in the beautiful Pacific NW just 15-20 minutes outside of Seattle in a 4000 sq ft clinic and we deliver orthopedic treatments with a pain neuroscience approach to a patient population from 15 years to 85 years of age.

All the therapists are trained in using pain education and graded motor imagery to address chronic pain.

You will be treating complex orthopedic conditions; post-op joint replacements and other orthopedic surgeries; chronic pain; young athletes etc.

We are growing rapidly and we are targeting to have twice the number of therapists in 6 years.

We utilize the biopsychosocial model in the treatment of our patients. This means that we understand that any treatment or diagnosis has more than one factor, and we cannot ignore the interaction of biology, psychology and social factors when treating someone. We spend a long time actively listening to our patients and getting to know them in order to provide the best possible care.
Benefits offered:
Medical,dental, 401k, paid vacation
Why you should come work for us:
We have a unique philosophy to treatment:

This is not a clinic in which patients are shuttled through.

Patients are scheduled for one-hour, one-on-one sessions with our therapist. They spend time with them, and learn about each other. This provides the best possible environment for healing and leads to the best outcome. We developed this model, our own Golden Rule, because this is how we want to treat and be treated.
