Description: We are looking for a PT to join our outpatient ortho clinic in small town Elko, NV.
Our ideal candidate should be friendly, outgoing "people-person" with willingness if not eagerness to work with a variety of patient types. Someone who will enjoy and thrive in a very friendly small town environment.
Our practice has a heavy orthopedic / sports emphasis but new hire must be open to treating a wide variety of diagnosis types ie; Pediatric to Geriatric, Neuro including some Post-stroke, SCI, TBI and some Vestibular. We do very little with wound care and are not set up for internal pelvic floor treatment.
We don't subscribe to any specific method but utilize many manual techniques learned in our general education in PT school. Every patient is seen by a PT for manual or other "hands-on" work each and every patient visit.
We do a small amount of aquatic and utilize an offsite local swimming pool.
Your responsibilities include manage and provide effective and efficient patient care in busy outpatient clinic. Provide sports medicine coverage on sidelines to local high school athletes.
Additional compensation available with willingness to assist with Home Health PT or with side work with Nevada Medicaid. As much as an additional $5000-$10,000+ could be earned annually.Why you should come work for us:

We are located centrally between the two large metropolitan areas of Reno, NV and Salt Lake City, UT so big city events and attractions are easily accessible and only a few hours drive away.
Outdoor enthusiasts won't be disappointed with the beautiful Ruby Mountain Range in our backyard and only 20 minutes outside our clinic doors. Ten Thousand foot plus peaks provide great recreational opportunities like hiking, biking, fishing, hunting and camping. Heli-Skiing and snowmobiling are popular activities in the Ruby's during the winter months.
