Description: We are looking for a General Dentist for a permanent position as an Associate Dentist with the option to buy in after a few years.
We are looking for the right candidate to become a partner, and eventually buy the practice in a few years. Someone that wants to eventually stay in the area and be a practice owner would be ideal, but we would be willing to hire someone that wants to remain in a long-term associate position.
We provide most general dental procedures for patients from 3-103! Preventive care, restorative care including fillings, crown and bridge, implant crowns, dentures and partials, root canals, non-surgical periodontal treatments, extractions, cosmetic dentistry (veneers, bonding, Zoom whitening, whitening trays).
We have 3 dentists and 6 hygienists and between all of us we service between 60 - 70 patients per day in 9 treatment rooms. Our office is up to date on technology and we are looking at acquiring CEREC in the not-too-distant future.
We accept PPO and fee for service.
Your responsibilities include full-time patient care, encompassing all areas of general dentistry. Performing recall exams for patients, evaluating new patients, maintaining clinical records. Working seamlessly with chairside assistants to provide gentle, high quality dentistry for our patients.
Personal qualities we are looking for include: Skilled clinician with above-average interpersonal skills. Our patients compliment the warmth of our staff and environment, so we want someone that will continue this spirit.
Everyone is laid-back and easy to get along with, so the ideal candidate would fit this description as well. We understand that a new graduate would need a little more time scheduled for procedures, but eventually we would want the candidate to be able to maintain a full schedule of various procedures every day and stay on track. The dentist would hopefully be self-motivated and energetic, and a team player.
Why you should come work for us:
Our office laughs together, enjoys each other's company, and supports each other in the work environment and are friends outside of the office too. We all genuinely look forward to coming to work every day. Staff turnover is non-existent here because of the great team. Our patients can feel this spirit as well. We care about them and they care about us the same way. The office has a laid-back atmosphere that puts the patients' comfort at the top of our priorities.
The Winston-Salem area is a great place to live. We are in close proximity to the mountains, and can be at the beach in under four hours. There are quiet suburban and rural areas to live in, but there is also a vibrant downtown with great restaurants and activities for more of an urban feel. The cost of living here is reasonable, and winters are mild.
