Speech Language Pathologist for Private Day School

Redwood City, CA 94063


As a Therapist with our school you will work on-site. We have 40 students and approximately 36 of them require speech therapy.

You'll be working with one SLPA and possibly one other SLP.

We need someone with experience in working with children with Autism and/or other related disabilities. You'll also need to possess knowledge of special education principles and strategies as applied to children with Autism and/or other related disabilities. 

Another requirement for this position is knowledge of augmentative & alternative communication principles and strategies, and technology applications currently available in the field and/or current research based speech and language strategies for students with ASD.

You'll need to be trained in a Crisis Intervention Certification program and/or be required to get trained when hired.

We admit students with a diagnosis of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) in the moderate to severe range. We will also consider other types of students with genetic and neurological challenges that can benefit from our model.

We take pride in supporting students with significant challenges in communication, social interaction and restrictive patterns of behavior, interests and activities as well as sensory challenges.

Our students are elementary and secondary students aged 5 to 22 years old. We provide a program offering a functional based foundation, not a high school diploma trajectory.


We are a Pediatric functional based educational and therapeutic program which uses a collaboration between disciplines (Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Behavior Management & Sensory Integration).
