$93,000-$114,000/year DOE.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Prospering private outpatient physical therapy clinic in the heart of Burbank, CA is seeking an upbeat and competent Physical Therapist to join our team of professionals and deliver exceptional patient care.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assesses patient condition, establishes goals and treatments in conjunction with the patient, and develops treatment plan.
  • Properly operates therapeutic equipment and devices including exercise equipment, modality machines, manual therapy tools, etc. Ask questions to owner or other staff as appropriate to ensure equipment is not damaged and remains in proper working order.
  • Provide hands-on treatment and/or manipulations to patients.
  • Codes procedures and PT diagnoses appropriately.
  • Verifies required authorizations have been obtained prior to initial evaluation or treatment.
  • Documents findings, treatments and other patient information in medical record.
  • Therapist will become competent in the operation and navigation of the Jane App (EMR) workspace. He/she will ask questions of the owner or staff as needed to gain competence or for technical assistance.
  • Supervises Physical Therapist Aide when appropriate to ensure patient care follows treatment plans.
  • Ensures that appropriate treatment is performed in interdisciplinary fashion, consulting with physicians and other healthcare practitioners re: patient health status.
  • Adheres to CMS reporting standards.
  • Complies with Clinic policies and procedures, including COVID-19 safety protocol.
  • Provides patient education on care issues and use of various therapies and exercises.
  • Provides information and education resources for patients, families, physicians, and staff.

Each therapist has the freedom to do what they do best, using the techniques they feel comfortable with. Our current therapists use Mckenzie and Stecco Facial Manipulation techniques to name a few. 

The age population varies from 25-55 (primarily), 65+ (secondary) to Children-Teens (limited).

Services are delivered in a 2,000 sq facility with modern equipment.
