Up for sale is a private Physical Therapy outpatient clinic that has been operating since April 2002. Current owner is looking at retiring in the next couple of years.

Physical properties:

• 2500 sq ft, 2 treatment rooms with possibility for 2 - 4 more
• All equipment included in sale, some is from 2002 and some purchased in the last 5 years
• 5 dedicated parking spaces plus handicap and numerous other spaces available
• Office is leased

Location and demographics:

• Located in Roanoke, Virginia between the Allegheny and Blue Ridge Mountains. General demographics of the area is a mixture of retired/Medicare patients and young professionals with a growing technology sector
• There are two smaller practices that are newer in the area within 2 to 3 miles of the practice, but have not affected patient flow at this clinic since their opening
• Reputation is excellent as we get many referrals each month, both from physicians we have been familiar with for years, as well as physicians specifically referring to this practice who we have never heard of, as well as referrals from former patients

Clientele and services offered:

• We provide physical therapy, dry, needling and aftercare gym memberships
• Patient population ranges from teenage to Medicare with 40% Medicare, 60% commercial insurance
• Insurance accepted - We are in network with all available insurance in the area
• Nbr of active patients currently ranges from 25 - 30 to keep the quality of care high
• We get on average 10 new patients per month. Potential is much higher.

Existing staff:

• One PTA and one Front Desk
• We are offering profit sharing for staff
• No benefits offered at this time
• Staff would stay on after sale

Finance:

• Sales price is $350,000, 2.5 times EBITDA
• Average gross revenue is $450,000
• Collections run at 2.5 times monthly billings

Buyer profile

• You should be a licensed Physical Therapist in Washington and have some experience with running a practice, and preferably also experience in marketing and growing a practice
• Your clinical skills should match the services currently offered
• Owner is willing to have you work in the practice for a period of time to get familiar with its operation
