Description: Immediate opening for a Physical Therapist in a beautiful and modern clinic providing a wide range of physical therapy and related services in Sherman Oaks, CA.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

We are a fairly large physical therapy outpatient clinic located in the heart of Sherman Oaks, CA, in a new beautiful building providing a wide range services such as physical therapy, athletic training, Class IV laser, Massage therapy and Pilates.

Compensation:
$90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

ABOUT THE POSITION

We provide orthopedics, neurology, and pain management for both pediatrics and adults of all ages and we employ IPA/NKT/all orthopedic manual therapy interventions/ laser/ blood flow restriction training/ Pilates in our treatments.
 
The clinic is in a beautiful new 9000 sq ft building with a 1200 sq ft large open gym, soothing decor and custom ergonomic seating has been orchestrated to create the perfect therapeutic environment. 
 
With a current staff of 21 we are growing and need to add another Physical Therapist to help with patient care.
 
Your responsibilities will include (not complete list)
  • Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms
  • Diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing a treatment plan
  • Teaching patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques
  • Providing therapeutic massage to promote healing
  • Assisting patients with the use of equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers
  • Maintaining patient records and keeping track of goals and progress
  • Advising the patient and family about in-home treatment options and exercises
