ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

Outpatient physical therapy company with 2 locations in El Paso providing Physical Therapy, with emphasis on Orthopedics and Sports, but with a fair share of balance/vestibular patients, neurological patients, some pediatrics. 

Compensation:
$80K and up, depending on experience

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are the premier physical therapy clinic in El Paso for orthopedics and sports injuries. In all we provide Physical Therapy, with emphasis on Orthopedics and Sports, but with a fair share of balance/vestibular patients, neurological patients, some pediatrics, Aquatics (Hydroworx pool with underwater treadmill, underwater hydromassage, cameras for gait analysis), Diagnostics (Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and EMG/NCS), and a Wellness Program.

We are growing and plan on opening another clinic next year.

We have 3 McKenzie Credentialed Physical Therapists on staff and several others with multiple McKenzie courses done. We use a lot of Manual Therapy (not specific on a "method"). 

Patient population varies from 0 - 100 years of age, serviced by a staff of 10 in a 5000 sq ft facility with a Hydrooorx pool for aquatic therapy.

You may need to get in the pool while performing aquatic therapy so must be comfortable with that.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist that is willing to have an impact. We are looking for a caring, energetic, positive, friendly, enthusiastic applicant who loves people and is passionate about the field of Physical Therapy. 

You must have a strong desire to grow as a Physical Therapist and the ability to work with a close-knit team.  In addition, you  must have strong manual therapy skills and be creative in your  exercise prescription specifically for each patient. 

El Paso has a great climate (was voted in top 10 in the world a few years ago), very safe (typically voted the safest major city in the USA, or at least top 3), very affordable. Large city, with small town feel. Hispanic culture is very welcoming and warm. Don't let being close to the border scare you, this is a very nice place to live.
