ABOUT THE POSITION

We provide out-patient physical therapy services, Functional Capacity Evaluations, and Pre-employment strength testing to a patient population mostly in the range of 25 - 90 years of age, though we do see children occasionally.

We are strong manual therapists and lean toward many techniques from the Institute of Physical Art; PNF.

Facility is 1900 sq ft with a gym and standard PT equipment.

You will be asked to provide thorough evaluations of orthopedic and, occasionally, neurological  conditions.

Provide physical therapy interventions including prescription of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait analysis/training, balance and proprioception training, transfer training, sports-specific rehab/training and postural/body mechanics education and training.

Application of modalities to manage pain and inflammation. Home exercise prescription.

If you are interested, you could be trained in Functional Capacity Evaluations and pre-employment strength testing.

You should be a team player and self starter with good critical thinking, problem solving and time management skills. You must be able to communicate clearly with patients, physicians, other therapists and support staff.

We have a wonderful team helping patients get better and we do it really well. You can be part of this great experience.
Why you should come work for us:
Because we are not a large corporation, we are able (and do) treat our patients and our staff like family. For example, we recently paid for tickets for our staff and their families (over 20 people) to enjoy a SF Giants/LA Dodgers baseball game.

We celebrate birthdays with a staff meal out at a favorite restaurant. We frequently host a staff and family Christmas party at our home. We believe family is important and offer flexible scheduling for staff to pick up kids from school or attend school events.

Patients who have been to therapy more than once frequently comment that they’ve "been to PT before, but were never treated as well" as they are in our office.

We frequently impress them on the first visit with our thorough evaluation and then really impress them on follow up visits when we spend one on one time providing hands-on manual therapy that they’ve never received at other clinics.

We have many patients who refuse to go to other clinics when they need PT. We have many patients who actively advocate for their friends and family to come to our office when in need of PT. We have a very broad mix of referral sources because of our excellent reputation.
